The wheel bearings seem to be an issue on a lot of Fiat's and Alfas I've owned and this will be about the tenth time I've had to replace some. I'm struggling to decipher where the whining is coming from though.

Other than that the car was faultless. Then at 3.5 years the clutch pedal snapped, and at 4 years the rear wiring loom has started to fray.
