Battle points [] The amount of ranking points that you get from a battle is: Battle points obtained / 50. All battles are counted and there are no exceptions. Of course you don't get any ranking points if you have lost your battle, or if you have 0 points (more damages on your side compared to the value of the damages caused to the enemy).

There is point where you are likely to nearly always 2 hit a troop and 3 attacks max which is 800-1000 attack boost, then there is the possible 1 hit and a max of 2 hits required and this is at 1400-1600 attack boost. Now this doesnt apply to those super high attrition battles but do for normal high level battles.
